Marlborough School Library has twenty laptops on a Novell network. Entire library is wireless. Students have individual electronic mail (e-mail) accounts which allow electronic communication with faculty and students. Classes come to the Lab to perform research assignments and other multimedia projects. All computers have Microsoft OfficeŠ applications. The library staff together with the faculty review all purchases of new educational software. In addition, students may access Library resources in their classrooms. Fiber-optic cabling throughout the campus connects the classroom directly to the Library resources, transforming each classroom into a virtual research and study lab.
All students are introduced to Technology Acceptable Use Policy and Guidelines and the various applications during their orientation classes. In addition, individual classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art computing, including smart boards and the Internet connectivity. Other computer resources are located in the foreign language lab, science lab, visual arts, and the history classroom that has its own cart with portable computers.
