I have always imagined that paradise will be a kind of library
--Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986)
Marlborough
School Salvatori Library
offers comprehensive services, resources, and an
evolving technology infrastructure for the entire learning
community of our School. Its director
and the library staff are available to assist the students,
teachers, and parents in their research, curricular projects
and recreational reading. The Library services are
especially designed to promote the School's Mission, which
is to offer a superior college preparatory education in a
nurturing environment to a diverse group of young
women. "Marlborough
believes that, for women, academic excellence, leadership
skills, and confidence flourish best in a school exclusively
devoted to their education. The Marlborough community
enables each student to develop her fullest potential so
that she may contribute in a global society." Special activities that the
Salvatori Library coordinates and promotes include our new
Blog, orientation
for new students, and
Book
and Media Fair.
